Services

Central Victoria Veterinary Hospital provides 24-hour emergency and critical care for companion animals on Vancouver Island as an adjunct service to your family veterinarian.

Just like the emergency room of a human hospital, we are specifically equipped to provide advanced emergency and critical care when your regular veterinarian is unavailable. Consequently, our specially trained emergency doctors and nurses have access to extensive medical resources. These include sophisticated equipment and technologies like specialized diagnostics, advanced surgery, the latest in radiology technology, and complete on-site laboratory. In our on-going efforts to provide a high level of medicine to our patients and clients, we are excited to be the first veterinary hospital on Vancouver Island to offer Computed Tomography or (CT). As in human hospitals, our CT scanner allows our specialists to diagnose more complex cases and treat more precisely. CT brings a whole new level of services to our hospital.

At the heart of our advanced care services are our board certified specialists. Our specialists provide an elevated level of expertise and an expanded knowledge base that can greatly benefit your pet in emergency situations. Additionally, our entire team is dedicated to providing a high level of care for your pet and thorough communication for you and your family veterinarian.

Should your pet ever require emergency care, you can count on us to be there when you need us most, providing timely, compassionate service and specialized medical care.
